ONC Wants Medical Practices To Have A Privacy and Security Officer | EMR and EHR.

I really like this blog post:  It makes sense that hiring privacy and security officers would be difficult for medical practices.  It’s another example of  something that makes sense, that is needed, but not necessarily affordable.  Practices are scrambling trying to find the money for EHR purchase and add’l IT/system administration support – it’ll be hard to find the money for add’l privacy and security officers as well.
